Seancitygh1Information received by seancitygh.net, the Ghana Education Service (GES) is looking into the sad death of a first-year student at Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.
They are working with the police to find out what happened. The student, Stacey Okyere, was suffering from bad stomach pains and died on Monday, February 5, 2024.
It is claimed that the school nurse ignored her and accused her of pretending to be sick.
Stacey was rushed to the hospital but was already dead when she arrived. The school is being heavily criticized for not taking care of the student. GES has said sorry to Stacey’s family in a statement.
