About Britain Great Scholarship 2024
The GREAT Scholarships offer students from 15 countries the chance to get £10,000 to help pay for their tuition fees for certain one-year postgraduate courses.
In the 2024-25 school year, 210 scholarships are available at 71 universities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Each country has its own page that lists the universities offering scholarships to students from that country, as well as which courses are covered and how to apply.
Who Paids For The Britain Great Scholarship
The scholarships are paid for by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council, along with the UK universities.
Students who get the scholarships will be invited to a welcome event in the first semester and a networking event in the second semester.

Requirements For Obtaining Britain Great ScholarshipÂ
1. You must be a citizen of one of the countries listed above.
2. You should have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, and have an interest in the proposed subject area
3. Must meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI
4. You should also establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment
5. Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
6. Be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships

Deadline for ApplicationÂ
The deadline to apply for a GREAT Scholarship varies according to each institution.
Successful scholars will be informed by individual universities on the result of their applications.
Nite that scholarship funding will be issued to successful scholars by individual universities after registration.
